My recent obsession with Mad Men is mostly attributed to the impeccable stylists and costume designers assigned to the show.

I am particularly drawn to Christina Hendricks' character, Joan Holloway, who has been referred to as a "vixen! sex symbol! goddess in tailored office wear!" because of her timeless beauty, indisputable confidence and to-die-for pencil skirts.

Without question, my next clothing purchases will include a killer high-waisted pencil skirt and some round-toe pumps. Perfection!
